Practice Description:  
Mr. Cox regularly represents clients charged with various felonies and misdemeanors in both federal and state court. His practice also involves the representation of individuals and small businesses in many types of civil litigation matters and in administrative actions. He is the current chair of the Illinois State Bar Association's Traffic Laws and Courts Section Council, and a member of the Illinois Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He is also involved extensively in the ISBA's continuing legal education efforts, both as a long-standing member of its standing committee on CLE and as a regular presenter. He received his undergraduate degree from Knox College, and his law degree from Southern Illinois University School of Law.
