Practice Description:
Mr. Dolan is the owner and principal of Dolan Law Offices, P.C. in Chicago. He has been a trial lawyer for 19 years. He formerly worked as a litigator at Segal McCambridge Singer and Mahoney in Chicago. He is a former prosecutor in the Cook County State's Attorney's office in Chicago. He currently handles complex litigation in state and federal court involving serious personal injury and wrongful death litigation. He handles professional malpractice, municipal, construction, trucking and civil rights cases. He also handles complex criminal cases. His practice has expanded in representing commercial litigation clients and government officials.
He has tried more than 49 cases to verdict in federal and state court and more than 130 arbitration and bench trials. He has argued cases in the Illinois appellate court and the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals. He has appeared before the Supreme Court of Illinois. He has served as chairman of several Illinois Bar Association committees and served on the Illinois State Bar General Assembly. He has authored and co-authored many publications on litigation issues. He has been invited to speak before lawyers and other professionals on a variety of litigation topics. He has handled several highly publicized cases. He currently is a moderator for the Illinois State Bar Association cable TV program Illinois Law.
His trial experience began as a law student prosecuting criminals and evolved into a broad spectrum of litigation. He has handled the most complex medical cases to defending white collar criminals. He is often called upon by individuals and companies when cases will not settle and go to trial.
