Practice Description:
Mr. Eissfeldt heads the Corporate Practice Group at Howard & Howard Attorneys, P.C., and is located in the firm's Peoria office, where he is the office managing partner. He has extensive experience in the financial services, corporate and securities areas of law, concentrating his practice in corporate finance, merger and acquisitions and general corporate law matters. He has engaged in a wide variety of corporate and securities law matters including private and public securities offerings, securities regulation of public companies, corporate financing, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate law matters. Mr. Eissfeldt's financial services practice includes the formation of bank and thrift holding companies, acquisition of banks, thrifts and non-banking companies, mutual-to-stock conversions and mutual holding company formations, the sale of securities and other financing transactions, antitakeover planning and other bank regulatory matters. He also represented a number of community banks, thrifts and holding companies in a wide range of banking-related matters, such as the development of securities, insurance and other new services and products, general regulatory and supervisory matters and general corporate and securities law matters. His banking practice extends to thrift charter conversion transactions and cross-industry acquisition transactions between banking organizations and thrifts.
